长期从事中药防治代谢性疾病作用机制及药效物质研究、中药防治慢性肝病(非酒精性脂肪肝、胆汁淤积性肝病、肝纤维化)作用机制及药效物质研究;主持并完成国家自然科学基金、上海市教委计划项目、上海中医药大学杏林学者等科研项目8, 参与完成国家科技重大新药创制项目2, 获授权发明专利4, 发表SCI论文35, 其中以第一/通讯(含共同通讯)作者在Phytomedicine, Journal of Proteome Research等期刊发表SCI论文23篇,荣获上海市科技进步奖二等奖1项、中华医学会科技奖二等奖1项,为《药理学》等国家“十四五”规划教材编委。

兼任中华中医药学会中药实验药理学分会青年委员, 上海市药学会药理学专委会青年委员, 上海药理学会药物代谢专业委员会委员, 上海药理学会中药药理专业委员会委员。
